However, it does not provide the same finishing as regular cabinet grade or hardwood plywood. It provides a smooth, clean, water-repellent surface with consistent color. Even if you want to get it in any other color, there is nothing to worry about because phenolic is available in different colors. Phenolic plywood is now also being used for cabinetry in laundry rooms, garages, and other work areas of homes, workshops, and businesses.
